Drawabox

I'm learning to draw! I feel like I've never been able to make anything with my hands that I've felt proud of. I should have started ten or twenty years ago. But I'm starting now. I'm using Drawabox to bootstrap my draftsmanship fundamentals and Radiorunner's curriculum for the solo artist for everything else. This page contains all of my finished Drawabox homework assignments.

I think that I'll have to fill the overwhelming majority of my free time with sketching if I want to actually improve. The hardest part for me is going to be forcing myself to make terrible, ugly, amateurish drawings for years. Learning to love the process even if I hate the output.

Maybe I'll never be amazing but I can be better than I am today. And hopefully I can someday be good enough to draw something I feel proud of. I can do this.
