Spell Pierce

An anthropomorphic okapi in a hoodie holds a hand of Magic: the Gathering cards. His other hand is on a tapped card on the table, two untapped cards beside it. The okapi has a look of determination, a knowing grin, like he's about to win the game with whatever card he's about to play. A four-pointed star beside him accentuates the sense that victory is near.

The artist visited my website and used my interests as inspiration for this commission. I love it! The expression on Volca's face is the highlight for me. He knows that victory is at hand, he's about to slam the winning card on the table.
