I was reading The Book of the New Sun when Halloween rolled around, so I asked the artist for an image of the okapi as Severian. He delivered fantastically. I love the brooding vibe and the fuligin cloak (despite not having the psychedelic multicolor dreamcoat lining of the paperback edition).
