Cream Cheese Frosting

Perfect topping for a carrot cake.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups confectioner's sugar

Optional

  • 1 Tbsp triple sec

Procedure

  1. Beat cream cheese in mixer until fluffy (~ 3 min). Add butter and beat to smooth (~ 3 min).
  2. Beat as you gradually add sugar until smooth and well-combined. Add vanilla and beat to light and fluffy (~ 3 min).
